"Dr. Greg," as he is affectionately known by his patients and staff, continues to build on the traditions of excellence started by his father. As a former patient of the office, Dr. Greg knows what it's like to wear braces and he uses that experience to help relate to his patients now.
After graduating from Bishop Hendricken High School in 1991 and Providence College in 1995, Dr. Greg moved to Boston where he began his scientific studies at Harvard University. After completing three years at Harvard, he was accepted into Boston University's School of Dental Medicine. Following in his father's footsteps, he served as President of his class. That summer, he applied and was accepted into a one-year residency program for advanced general dentistry. Following this training, Dr. Greg was invited to join the clinical faculty at Boston University, where he taught third and fourth-year dental students for two years. While on the dental school faculty, he was accepted into a three-year advanced training program in orthodontics at Boston University.
In 2008, Dr. Greg graduated with a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study (CAGS) and a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in the specialty of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During this three-year specialty program, Dr. Greg received extensive training in traditional orthodontic treatment, orthognathic jaw surgery, Invisalign, and the placement of orthodontic miniscrew implants.
Throughout Dr. Greg's dental training, he has received various honors and awards. Boston University bestowed awards for Outstanding Achievement in Research for his master's thesis in orthodontics, and for Excellence in Patient and Practice Management.
